About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician II performs Direct Fulfillment manufacturing processes to ensure timely shipment of quality products, working efficiently to maximize output. The role involves manually assembling and functionally testing systems, handling materials and inventory, and maintaining workplace organization. It also supports new product and process development by reviewing and updating assembly documentation, building first-run products, coordinating with Engineering and Group Leaders, identifying tools, developing training methods, and tracking process improvements. The technician must follow safety, health, protective-equipment, and company security procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of related experience and/or training.
Ability to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications.

Responsibilities

Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware to meet predetermined volumes.
Functionally test completed systems according to work processes.
Pull required materials from flow racks and bin locations.
Perform back-flush operations using computer operating systems.
Conduct physical inventory in the designated area.
Maintain 5S order and cleanliness.
Review new-product assembly documentation, including assembly prints, routing notes, and bills of materials.
Assemble first-run products.
Modify or correct assembly documentation.
Work with Engineering toward production build release.
Identify required tools and develop training methods.
Work with Group Leaders to ensure process documentation is current and correct.
Create and track ECRs for process improvements or corrections.
Follow safety rules and use required protective equipment.
Follow applicable safety and health rules and regulations as directed by the supervisor.
Comply with procedures within the company security policy.
