About The Position

As part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, the Manufacturing Technician II helps deliver high-quality products that positively affect customers and supports production needs so products are delivered on time and in full. The role works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. It completes production jobs efficiently and on schedule, collaborates with cross-functional teams on tasks and projects, and identifies opportunities to improve the department and the overall business. The position is based at 3175 Staley Rd., Grand Island, NY 14072, and works the second shift (afternoons). The work environment includes GMP and safety requirements, PPE, strong odors, hazardous or toxic materials, and lifting up to 40 pounds without assistance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory setting, or related field.
Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adhere to all policies and procedures.

Experience in a cGMP environment.
