About The Position

The associate at this level has a solid foundation of successful performance in equipment repair and maintenance based on increasingly more complex assignments, complex repairs, and the effective management of multiple priorities, machine, and process improvements. The associate has demonstrated knowledge of the different machine processes, setups, and operations and has demonstrated his ability and effectiveness working in a team environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 4-6 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of electromechanical components, systems, and assemblies.
  • Increased understanding of the production and/or facility systems and operations.
  • Strong Skills in Microsoft Office Programs including Word and Excel.
  • Strong Understanding of Maintenance Programs such as FT Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Electro-mechanical Assemblies.
  • Ability to Interpret Wiring Diagrams.
  • Ability to modify PLC programs to improve machine and equipment performance.
  • Strong knowledge of screen printing, die cutting and high-speed packaging processes.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate machine repairs and maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Creates detailed equipment and machine preventive maintenance work instructions.
  • Assists in the installation of newly acquired equipment in conjunction with manufacturing engineering, facilities, and operations.
  • Strictly adheres to safety rules and guidelines during production and maintenance activities, and ensure associates are working in a safe manner.
  • Assists in the Root Cause Analysis of machine downtime and determines effective ways to prevent the recurrence.
  • Creates the job hazard analysis for the new and existing production and maintenance processes.
  • Enrolls in continuous training on technical maintenance practices to improve maintenance best practices, knowledge of new maintenance techniques and troubleshooting practices.
  • Designs and implements robust solutions to reduce equipment downtime through collaboration with manufacturing engineering and operations.
  • Keeps record of maintenance and inventory activities using maintenance software.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and ladder logic to troubleshoot equipment issues.
