Requirements

High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience
Candidates must successfully pass a technical skills assessment evaluating advanced equipment diagnostics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, reliability practices, continuous improvement, equipment optimization, commissioning, and technical leadership capabilities.
Additional job-related technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and role-specific competencies may also be assessed based on operational needs, equipment, systems, and facility requirements.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
Perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts
Utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system
Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution
Other duties as assigned
