About The Position

The Manufacturing Team Lead provides daily direction, support, and guidance to team members. The role focuses on identifying and resolving work-center problems, maintaining daily scheduling processes, and ensuring adherence to team standards. The Team Lead drives performance against key metrics through active engagement and continuous improvement, and collaborates with team members and peers to help meet goals efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to generate reports and track and report work-center metrics.
• Ability to coordinate shift meetings, schedules, production issues, staffing, materials flow, and training.
• Ability to identify non-standard conditions and audit team member performance and behavior.
• Ability to enforce safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
• Ability to periodically operate work-center equipment and machines.

Responsibilities

• Generate reports and track and report work-center metrics.
• Coordinate daily shift meetings across three shifts.
• Identify non-standard conditions.
• Set daily work-center schedules.
• Resolve issues that affect the daily production schedule.
• Manage the flow of materials.
• Audit team members’ performance and behavior.
• Enforce safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
• Manage daily staffing requirements and coverage.
• Provide training or coordinate training.
• Periodically operate equipment and machines in work centers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
