About The Position

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of union-represented mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblers. This role focuses on composite, paint, assembly bonding, and testing processes, and is essential to achieving our team’s goals of quality, efficiency, and innovation. The Supervisor role at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblers in solving complex challenges, advancing scientific discovery, and delivering innovative solutions in the cutting-edge field of missile defense and hypersonic technology. Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft office suite experience.
  • Prior leadership/management experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Strong communication written and oral.
  • Ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to resolve conflict.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, flexible environment, including overtime periods, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree focus in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or other degree major with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies consistent with the tenets of Full Spectrum Leadership.
  • Experience with tracking and managing cost, quality, and schedule, in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working and leading in a union environment.
  • Performance Management Team experience.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Test and Assembly Experience.
