Manufacturing Supervisor - Second Shift

About The Position

Schneider Electric is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead operations at its Fairfield team. The role is responsible for meeting production schedules while balancing cost efficiency, quality standards, and lead-time targets. The supervisor supports team training, partners with cross-functional teams to improve industrial processes, manages employee performance and development, promotes workplace safety, and owns group performance goals. The position reports to the Plant Manager and works the second shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, with overtime as needed.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience working with manufacturing processes and systems.
At least 2 years of manufacturing leadership experience leading a sizable team.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree; equivalent experience and skills may be substituted.
Project management skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and lead-time targets.
Organize and address team training needs to build skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve industrial processes and efficiencies.
Manage people, including goal setting, competency development, recognition and engagement, daily timekeeping, and performance and disciplinary management.
Promote a safety-first attitude and a secure, compliant work environment.
Own group performance goals and guide the team toward achieving them.
