About The Position

Intel Foundry is hiring a student technician for a two-year cohort internship program in semiconductor manufacturing at its Hillsboro, Oregon, fab. The role provides hands-on experience operating and maintaining advanced fabrication equipment in a cleanroom, with mentorship from process engineers, module technicians, and factory leaders. The program is designed for college students pursuing associate degrees and offers scheduling around classes, technical training, and opportunities to build a career in high-tech manufacturing. During school terms, interns work 20 to 32 hours per week; during academic breaks and summer sessions, they may work up to 40 hours per week. The position uses 12-hour compressed workweek shifts. The listed Shift 5 day schedule is Sunday through Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Other schedules are available for AMHS areas.
