About The Position

At Poka, we’re transforming how frontline teams operate, learn, and solve problems. Our connected worker platform is purpose-built for manufacturing, empowering frontline workers to share knowledge, collaborate in real-time, and drive continuous improvement. We are looking for a Solutions Consultant who combines hands-on operational knowledge with pre-sales expertise to join our growing North American team. You'll be a key partner to our North American Sales team, guiding prospects through how Poka — and its AI-powered capabilities — unlocks measurable value across operations, frontline enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales role supporting manufacturing or industrial customers.
• Plus either: 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial operations (engineering, CI, production leadership, field operations), or 5+ years selling or supporting technical solutions into manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, standardized work, and operational KPIs.
• Comfort engaging with AI-powered tools and the ability to articulate how AI features — such as intelligent search, automated reporting, and predictive insights — translate into operational value on the frontline.
• Experience delivering customized product demonstrations and leading technical discussions with both operational and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear operational outcomes and business value.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage site managers, CI leaders, IT teams, and C-suite executives.
• Experience contributing to PoCs, solution design, or technical validation processes.
• Fluency in English required.
• Willingness to travel within North America (up to 50%).

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across manufacturing and industrial sectors, deeply understanding their processes, pain points, and digital maturity — including where AI can accelerate their journey.
• Lead consultative discovery conversations that connect real-world operational challenges to Poka's connected worker capabilities and AI-driven insights.
• Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly articulate business impact, from waste reduction and standardized work to training optimization and AI-assisted knowledge capture.
• Architect solution frameworks that support enterprise-level manufacturing and industrial environments, ensuring alignment with IT, OT, and operational requirements.
• Develop compelling value narratives and business cases grounded in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence principles.
• Partner closely with the North American Sales team to support strategic deals, RFPs, PoCs, and executive presentations.
• Contribute operational expertise to the broader Solutions team, helping elevate demo strategy, storytelling, and use-case positioning.
• Represent Poka at customer-facing events, site visits, and strategic workshops across the region.
