About The Position

Piedmont Candy Company is hiring a Manufacturing Production Manager to support our growing operations and lead the launch of our 2nd shift production team. This role will train on 1st shift before transitioning into a 2nd shift leadership position. You’ll oversee kitchen and packaging operations, lead teams, and drive production performance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Production or Operations Management experience (required)
• Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Hands-on leadership style; comfortable working on the production floor

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production supervisors and frontline teams
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations (kitchen + packaging)
• Ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on time
• Maintain food safety, GMP, and HACCP compliance
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Support hiring, training, and employee development
