About The Position

This role is for a Manufacturing Planner (Level 2) on the PAC‑3 Program Team, responsible for program and manufacturing planning, managing production schedules, material procurement, and workflow prioritization. The Manufacturing Planner Associate (Level 2) will ensure data integrity in the MRP system, optimize material flow, and deliver accurate production status to stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining data integrity in the MRP system, managing material flow, inventory optimization, and production schedules. The role also involves providing status reports to internal customers, analyzing production data to inform business decisions, coordinating with engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams to align priorities, and identifying and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives across the PAC‑3 program. Support for travel and communication with production sites and vendor locations is also required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Logistics from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (interim secret clearance is required to start role)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with Manufacturing Planning and Supply Chain Management concepts, including Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Production Planning and Control (PP&C), and Supply Chain Management and Procurement Principles
  • Basic Knowledge in Inventory Control, Material Handling and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Basic Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Concepts and Processes
  • Basic Knowledge of supply and demand with the ability to analyze and respond to changes in customer demand, supplier lead times, and inventory levels to ensure optimal production planning and scheduling
  • Basic Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
