About The Position

This is an enterprise position supporting the Material Availability Team in material allocations across multiple programs. The selected candidate will be fully capable of building Lines of Business (LOBs) for critical shortages and assessing pertinent data related to different programs experiencing competing demand for parts. This position will network with Points of Contact (POCs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the enterprise to collect data and develop supporting charts for critical shortages, gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the systems and processes used in production, sustainment, and other organizations competing for the same supply. The selected candidate will work closely with the Supply Chain Integration team and buyers directly to develop and maintain current status on material availability and/or developing constraints affecting supply. The position will be familiar with the PAR/SAR processes and will be a key advisor in making allocation decisions. The candidate will be an SME in the PGMC (program critical material control) process for the FWT site and assist in adding and releasing parts from the list of controlled materials. This position will be key in developing long term strategies to mitigate impacts to lines of business affected by program critical shortages.

Requirements

Experience in Production Control operations, material distribution, and material movement.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes.
Experience with SAP.
Excellent communication skills.

Experience with SAP and building LOBs.

Process Improvement experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience with Sustainment processes.
Technical experience and proficiency data manipulation and metric creation, to include SAP/HANA, Tableau, and/or Excel.

Responsibilities

Building LOBs for critical shortages.
