About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. for the F‑16 International Co‑Production Manufacturing Engineering Support team, responsible for providing engineering support to both international and domestic F‑16 co‑producers. As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr., you will ensure all F‑16 manufacturing activities meet engineering, program, and contractual requirements. You are a seasoned manufacturing engineer with strong problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative approach to working with multiple partners. Your attention to detail and commitment to compliance ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of F‑16 production tooling. Requirements

  • Manufacturing/Production Experience: Hands-on experience in production or manufacturing environments.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Production Tooling: Aircraft production tooling knowledge.

  • Strong analytical and technical foundation with gauge controlled tooling.
  • Aerospace Manufacturing Experience – Hands-on experience in high-precision, regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Project Management & Facilitation – Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Value Stream Mapping & Process Optimization – Experienced in mapping workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing efficiency improvements.
  • Data Analysis & Visualization – Proficient in Excel, Tableau, and other analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills – Strong collaboration, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues on the production line and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify tooling requirements, generate tool orders, and oversee creation, rework, or repair of production tooling.
  • Coordinate with international and domestic co‑production partners to align processes and specifications.
  • Validate that manufacturing work adheres to engineering drawings, program directives, and contract terms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of tooling changes, issue tracking, and resolution outcomes.
