About The Position

The Manufacturing Planner (Level 2) for the GMLRS team is responsible for managing the production schedule and analyzing material shortages for various programs. This role involves planning and coordinating the production schedule, analyzing material shortages, and identifying opportunities to improve production efficiency. Responsibilities include managing the production schedule and analyzing material shortages for multiple programs, coordinating with production, procurement, and logistics teams, identifying and implementing process improvements, analyzing data to spot trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Experience with SAP
  • Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
  • Must be able to work outside of the normal operating hours, as required
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
  • A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

  • Strong interpersonal skills in a team environment.
