About The Position

GeoLogics is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer/Planner with strong professional experience. This role is not focused on supply chain, resource planning, or scheduling. Instead, it requires expertise in creating comprehensive work instructions for areas such as machine parts, composite details, composite assemblies, airframe structures, aircraft systems, aircraft check-outs, wiring and electrical systems, plumbing, aircraft maintenance, MRB, or coatings. The position offers a 4/10 workweek with three days off each week.

Requirements

US Citizenship status required.
Bachelor degree and 5 years relevant experience or Masters and 3 years experience.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and other applicable references.
Instructional writing proficiency.
Detailed knowledge of fabrication, tooling, manufacturing and inspection methods or processes pertaining to aircraft parts, assemblies, systems, or vehicles.
Working knowledge of utilizing computer applications such as SAP, MS Office, CAPP/SFM and model-based engineering systems such as Solumina/iBASEt, Teamcenter, 3DX : OR like programs/software's.
Understanding of basic structure: Engineering Bill Of Materials (EBOM), Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM), and Order Bill Of Materials (OBOM).
Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools, such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA.
Ability to pass background checks required to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

Active Secret clearance is a plus.
