About The Position

Stellar Industries, recently acquired by TRUMPF Photonics, manufactures metalized ceramics for the Aerospace, Photonics, Telecommunications, and Commercial industries. The Manufacturing Operator performs various manufacturing processes on production parts according to pre-established process sheets and procedures, ensuring and maintaining lot integrity. The role requires access to ITAR-controlled technical data, so candidates must qualify as a U.S. person under 22 CFR 120.62, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and protected individuals as defined at 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). This is a second-shift position working Monday through Thursday, 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The workweek is four days.

Requirements

0–3 years of experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in a similar environment involving chemicals, measuring devices, ultrasonic devices, and microscopes.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate extremely high levels of precision and accuracy.
Ability to work sitting or standing for up to 10 hours.
Ability to wear a lab coat, spittle mask, and gloves while working.
Must qualify as a U.S. person under 22 CFR 120.62 for access to ITAR-controlled technical data.

Responsibilities

Complete work according to process sheet instructions in a tightly controlled environment.
Test work results and document part parameters by completing the process sheet.
Perform manufacturing processes that may include sanding bench, DBC scrubbing, via fill, via drill, dice mounting, and DBC photolithography procedures.
Follow all safety protocols.
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Cross-train in other areas of the company as requested.
