About The Position

At Alleima’s Business Unit Medical, the Manufacturing Operator uses equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other production steps in a climate-controlled environment. The role supports the creation and distribution of products for medical device customers. Operators set up and run manual, automatic, and/or semiautomatic machines and related ancillary equipment, following production or process specifications and instructions. The work may involve jobs of short, medium, or long duration, with frequent setup changes and cycle variation.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Dependability, a can-do attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to stand for long periods, work in a manufacturing environment, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual, automatic, and/or semiautomatic machines and related ancillary equipment in production or processing operations.
Follow production and process specifications or instructions to manufacture products.
Monitor process conditions and equipment readings, including speed, temperature, diameter measuring equipment, flow meters, gauges, and valve positions, to ensure adherence to specifications.
Perform in-process quality checks on process and product characteristics using prescribed gauges, meters, microscopes, and micrometers.
Report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor equipment adjustments and repairs.
Assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other production steps.
