About The Position

Our Clark location is part of Kerry's Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. This facility has two buildings: the North building produces natural flavorings and essential oils, while the South building produces savory seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy. The Manufacturing Operator role is crucial for the operations in this facility.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Ability to push up to a 450 lb. metal drum on a roller conveyor.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Read, write, speak the English language.
Follow proper housekeeping and sanitary GMP procedures to prevent product contamination.
Use clean tools and utensils and ensure they are properly stored or hung to prevent product contamination.
Ability to operate a computer and be comfortable using two different HMI systems for operation (SAP and Wonder ware).

Nice To Haves

Experience using a Manufacturing Execution System (SAP).
Communication skills (Be able to report metrics on the shift exchange).

Responsibilities

Follow procedures for system start-up, operation, shutdown, cleaning, and batching.
Mix chemical and food batches, monitor and sample in accordance with SOPs & record process and production data.
Troubleshoot dryer processes, assist with routine maintenance, and maintain a clean work environment.
Oversee cleanup of the entire dryer system between products.
Ensure blends are placed into blending tanks correctly, utilizing process control sheets.
Weigh minor ingredients, double-check item numbers, batch quantities, and lot numbers.
Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and all filling instructions are followed for each order.
Operate pumps, mixers, and filters in a safe and efficient manner.
Check and adjust brix and acid on the blend to be within customer specifications.
Complete Master Sanitation Sheet and assist with cleaning when needed.
Report metrics on the shift exchange.
Work mandatory overtime over the weekend.
Perform other duties as required.
