About The Position
The Manufacturing Operations Support 3 processes precision-machined components through manual and automated hand operations after on-the-job training. Work includes heat treating, cleaning, sorting, deburring, microscopic inspection, and assembly. The position is onsite in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, and is a 24-month W2 assignment scheduled for 40 hours per week on the swing shift, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Hourly pay is $25.
Requirements
- Experience with microscopic inspection and high-volume parts inspection and handling.
- Experience with part deburring, cleaning, and sorting.
- Experience with precision pin, thread, and ring gaging.
- Basic Windows PC and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience.
- Ability to interpret specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Nice To Haves
- Some college or technical coursework is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support hand operations, including heat treat, cleaning, sorting, and deburring.
- Process precision-machined parts through manual and automated operations after on-the-job training.
- Perform visual inspections and assembly tasks under a microscope.
- Inspect, handle, and sort high volumes of parts using precision gauges and specialized tools and equipment.
