About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Coordinator in El Segundo, CA for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. The Manufacturing Operations Coordinator will provide administrative, scheduling, reporting, and project support to a tooling and manufacturing organization. This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to organize meetings, presentations, production data, and competing priorities for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Relevant administrative, scheduling, project-management, or manufacturing-support experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP or INDEX MATCH, formulas, and macros.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, including calendar and meeting-management functions.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint experience.
  • Experience scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars.
  • Experience organizing presentations and gathering data for leadership.
  • Basic data-analysis and reporting experience.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience providing support to a diverse internal customer base.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and take ownership of new projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations in an aerospace or industrial environment.
  • SAP, Manufacturing Execution System, ERP, or MRO system experience.
  • Power BI or Tableau dashboard and reporting experience.
  • Experience with production planning, material management, quality, process improvement, or manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support production, business, and manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, schedules, and team activities.
  • Organize presentations and compile data for leadership review.
  • Create reports and analyze manufacturing or operational information.
  • Support production planning and control activities.
  • Assist with material-management and process-improvement efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers regarding planning, issue resolution, and operational needs.
  • Help manage competing priorities, projects, and critical deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records, schedules, presentations, and supporting documentation.
  • Facilitate communication across manufacturing, tooling, engineering, and business teams.
  • Support self-directed work teams and provide training or guidance as assigned.
