About The Position
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Firstline Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join the 737 P-8 team in Renton, Washington for a Variable Shift. This position is about helping our teammates and peers elevate and accelerate our business, while holding steadfast to our values: Safety & Quality, People Focus, Trust, Ownership, & Innovation.
Requirements
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or a manufacturing environment
- 1+ year of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ability to work any shift and/or weekends as assigned
- Successful candidate for this job must satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
