About The Position

Whirlwind Steel manufactures metal building systems, focusing on the design, fabrication, and delivery of steel structures. The Manufacturing Helper assists with daily manufacturing operations to maintain an efficient workflow throughout the production area. The role supports equipment setup, material handling, and general housekeeping while following safety procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Ability to work in warehouse and production conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of manufacturing environments.
• Overhead crane experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading raw materials, parts, and finished goods.
• Help monitor products during production and identify visible defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and promptly report concerns.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to support workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
