About The Position
Amarr Company, a leading garage door manufacturer and part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a General Production worker for their assembly line. This role involves producing garage doors, completing production orders accurately and safely, and cross-training on other entry-level positions. Requirements
- Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination for operation of hand/power tools.
- Ability to learn product, work well under pressure, and be mechanically inclined with the ability to operate power tools.
- Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to perform short distance walking of 5-15 feet on a periodic basis.
- Ability to perform frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting.
- Ability to lift and stack banded door panels to various levels.
- Ability to lift up to forty-five pounds individually.
- Ability to safely work with another team member to carry or lift door panels in excess of forty-five pounds.
- Ability to push carts, requiring up to 50lbs of force.
- Ability to occasionally pull carts to steer.
Responsibilities
- Work on an assembly line to produce garage doors.
- Complete production orders accurately and safely in a timely manner.
- Cross-train on other entry-level positions.
- Develop product knowledge.
