About The Position

The Manufacturing Production Worker is a multi-functional role responsible for setting up and operating equipment in the process of fabricating metal building parts or assembling metal roll-up doors or operating other metal-forming type machines. This is an entry-level role with training provided and growth opportunities. Applicants must have a safety-first mindset and maintain world-class quality standards in a diverse, fast-paced work environment. Team members will be on their feet and working in an assembly operation most of the time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and work within a diverse workforce.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure within 1/16th of an inch.
• Attention to detail with a desire to produce high quality and accurate work in a safe manner.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Strength and Stamina: Productions workers must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods doing repetitive motions.
• Due to business necessity and safety concerns, employees must be proficient in English.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus.
• Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery used in the production process for the assembly line.
• Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters.
• Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the position.
• Load and unload items from machines and carts; band finished product.
• Build wood crates and packaging for finished metal products.
• Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
• Mark parts for identification.
• Measure length and work with tight tolerances.
