About The Position

As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. You will be supporting manufacturing operations by evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost-effective for the manufacture of company products. You will also oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues. This role involves studying equipment performance and reliability, participating in data analysis and problem resolution, and performing lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and minimize cycle time in a high-volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies. You will establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process, provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, and define and write preventative maintenance schedules.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree
5 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer or Fab engineer

Nice To Haves

Strong foundation in engineering change control - specific Equipment experience with AMAT CMP tool
Equipment experience on other equipment (e.g., AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM)
Experience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation
Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and SPC techniques. Experienced with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing operations
Evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products
Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
Keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues

Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
