The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for writing the Production Operation Instruction sheets (POIS) to support the manufacturing production schedule, including instructions for detailed assemblies. This position also creates BOM and Route requirements and enters the information into an ERP system. Manufacturing Engineering Technician I performs the more routine tasks and duties assigned within the series. Employees at this level may have limited experience and receive regular instruction or assistance in performing their assigned duties. Advancement to Level II is based on demonstrated proficiency in all duties and responsibilities. Manufacturing Engineering Technician II performs the full range of duties and responsibilities assigned within the series. Employees at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of company Procedures and SOP’s.
