About The Position

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of production systems. The role develops and maintains manufacturing systems and processes, documents work instructions and standard operating procedures, and works with vendors and production teams to address operational needs. The technician also supports equipment maintenance, workflow planning, training, troubleshooting, and safety and quality-system requirements.

Nice To Haves

Some college in a related field is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Familiarity with Python is a plus; programming experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Design and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance.
Maintain and support existing and newly implemented systems.
Develop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activities.
Collaborate with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement solutions.
Train personnel on systems, processes, and best practices.
Troubleshoot processes and systems as needed.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services, ensuring manufacturer procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.
Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Report recognized product or procedural non-conformances.
Contribute to the Quality System in the area of Document Control.
Ensure production systems meet safety requirements.
Assist other areas as requested.
