About The Position

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of production systems. The role focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency and performance while maintaining and supporting existing and newly implemented systems. The technician also contributes to the Quality System in the area of Document Control, reports recognized product or procedural non-conformances, and helps ensure production systems meet safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

Some college in a related field is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Familiarity with Python is a plus; programming experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Design and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance.
Maintain and support existing and newly implemented systems.
Develop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activities.
Collaborate with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement solutions.
Train personnel on systems, processes, and best practices.
Troubleshoot processes and systems as necessary.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and ensure manufacturer procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.
Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Report product or procedural non-conformances when recognized.
Contribute to the Quality System in the area of Document Control.
Ensure production systems meet safety requirements.
Assist other areas as requested.
