About The Position

As a Manufacturing Engineering Tech 3 at MKS, you will partner with Technical Operations to support Production. In this role, you will report to the Equipment Services Manager. You Will Make an Impact By: Support the manufacturing floor. Respond to unscheduled equipment issues and perform Preventative Maintenance requirements. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions for validation and troubleshooting functions. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy equipment malfunctions and PM requirements. Uses manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment which may require some software skills. Manage lab and critical spare parts inventory at multiple MKS sites. Analyze part storage identifying automation and improvement opportunities. Assist with shipping and receiving of parts for equipment builds and critical spares supporting the manufacturing floor at multiple MKS sites. Assist with production printer management across multiple sites. Implement and maintain a PM process for printers on the manufacturing floor. Maintain database accuracy and up-to-date records as well as assist in the analyzing of data/records for improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • An AA degree, military technical training, equivalent vocational training, or related on-the-job experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience with parts management (procurement, shipping/receiving, inventory).
  • Relative experience in a technician role assisting with repair and/or maintenance.
  • Ability to collect and analyze basic experimental data and effectively communicate results.
  • Demonstrated work experience with MS Office products.
  • Candidate must be comfortable with MS Excel, Word and Outlook at a minimum.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PM and/or inventory database a plus.
