About The Position

ME TRACK is an early-career manufacturing engineering rotational program designed to build broad manufacturing understanding, technical depth, and plant and launch experience. Participants complete four assignments in a six-month rotation model, developing skills in manufacturing design, solution development and deployment, integration of components and processes, and manufacturing validation. The program offers opportunities to contribute to vehicle, propulsion, battery, components, and other advanced manufacturing programs from process development through production launch and ongoing improvement. The successful candidate will use engineering principles, data analysis, and structured problem-solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. The role involves collaboration with plant personnel and cross-functional teams, as well as time in manufacturing areas. Work locations include Manufacturing Engineering headquarters in Warren, Michigan, or various U.S. plant locations. This is an onsite position, with the successful candidate expected to report to the work location full-time. Travel varies by assignment and may be required to strategic partners and plants. Occasional extended hours or adjusted schedules may be required for trials, launches, equipment installations, or critical production activities. Candidates must graduate between December 2026 and June 2027. GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role. The role may be eligible for relocation benefits.
