About The Position
Sport Truck, USA, a division of FOX Factory, is seeking a part-time Engineering Intern to support engineering and manufacturing projects while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. The role provides exposure to product development, process improvement, CAD design, and manufacturing operations. The internship is onsite at FOX Factory’s Coldwater, Michigan facility and requires regular attendance. Candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance; relocation assistance is not available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university engineering program.
- Must have taken classes in SolidWorks or comparable modeling software.
- Diligent and hardworking.
- Quick to learn work assignments.
- Capable of taking direction.
- Flexible, with good interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of experience in a previous internship program or general work experience.
- Some positions may require prerequisite college courses.
Responsibilities
- Perform entry-level duties in the assigned department.
- Run general industry-related errands.
- Attend company meetings and functions.
- Shadow employees and train in a variety of tasks.
- Assist with implementing improvements in a manufacturing environment and work hands-on with others.
