About The Position

This internship offers hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, focusing on applying technical expertise to product production. Interns will be involved in selecting, designing, or recommending tools, fixtures, and equipment. The role includes developing manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and costs, recommending design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs, and solving production problems to improve process capabilities. Participants will engage in the presentation of test results and design reviews, interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers, and participate in the administration of technical procedures. Key activities also involve initiating and implementing routine engineering change authorizations, supporting capacity models and lean initiatives, and potentially participating in lean six sigma improvement teams. Interaction with global teammates is also a possibility.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Prior internship experience
