About The Position

This internship role focuses on applying technical expertise in product manufacturing. The intern will be involved in selecting, designing, or recommending tools, fixtures, and equipment. They will also develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and costs, and recommend design changes to improve quality or reduce costs. The role involves solving production problems, improving process capabilities, participating in test result presentations and design reviews, and interacting with other functional groups, vendors, or customers. The intern will also participate in the administration of technical procedures, initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations, and support capacity models and lean initiatives, potentially participating in lean six sigma improvement teams. Interaction with global teammates is also a possibility.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Science Engineering
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Prior internship experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
