About The Position

Dauch is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated individual for a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position at its facility in Three Rivers, Michigan. The position works within the Manufacturing Engineering team and assists with process engineering activities for assigned manufacturing areas, including managing engineering changes, troubleshooting production problems, maintaining process and quality documentation, and supporting tooling design. The co-op must be available to work at least 25 hours per week year-round.

Requirements

• Be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Have a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Be available to work at least 25 hours per week year-round.
• Be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process engineering activities associated with assigned manufacturing areas.
• Manage engineering changes as they occur.
• Assist with troubleshooting daily production problems using root cause analysis techniques.
• Maintain quality and process documentation, including control plans, PFMEAs, picture process sheets, and tooling sheets.
• Perform tolerance stack-ups to assist with tooling design.
• Develop and maintain program-tracking documentation.
• Adhere to Engineering Corporate policies and procedures.
• Implement safety and good housekeeping standards.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
