About The Position

Dauch is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated individual for a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position reporting through the Manufacturing Engineering team at its facility in Three Rivers, Michigan. The role assists with process engineering activities for assigned manufacturing areas, production troubleshooting, engineering changes, and maintaining engineering and quality documentation. The position also supports tooling design and program tracking, while following corporate engineering policies and safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Have a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Be available to work at least 25 hours per week year-round.
• Be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process engineering activities for assigned manufacturing areas.
• Manage engineering changes as they occur.
• Help troubleshoot daily production problems using root cause analysis techniques.
• Maintain quality and process documentation, including control plans, PFMEAs, picture process sheets, and tooling sheets.
• Perform tolerance stack-ups to assist with tooling design.
• Develop and maintain program-tracking documentation.
• Adhere to Engineering Corporate policies and procedures.
• Implement safety and good housekeeping standards.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
