About The Position

To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story. We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients! Please note, this opportunity is an onsite work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Solidworks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Enrolled in post-secondary program such as mechanical engineering, operations management, or other program related to manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Source and build production equipment to support capacity expansion.
  • Assist with the setup and implementation of new production lines.
  • Collaborate with engineers on the installation, maintenance and optimization of critical facility infrastructure, including HVAC, compressed air, and water systems.
  • Conduct process time studies and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Work on process improvement projects to increase production efficiency and capacity.
  • Design and implement fixtures and equipment to improve manufacturing processes using CAD software.
  • Implement 5S and other Lean improvements in manufacturing and on the production floor.
  • Provide manufacturing team support to meet the production department’s requirements; troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Assist in the documentation of manufacturing processes including, but not limited to, work instructions, standards, and reports.
  • Troubleshoot and monitor systems, assess data, and contribute to decision-making for facility improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support facility expansions, ensure compliance with regulations, manage schedules and deadlines, and oversee contractors for maintenance tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.
