To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story. We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients! As a member of the Facilities team, you will get hands-on experience performing improvements in facilities management efficiency, delivering solutions to operate and maintain industrial facilities and utilities, becoming familiar with system alarms, learning how to review the parameter trends to assess the health of the systems, problem solving to deliver best-in-class system reliability and uninterrupted manufacturing operation, and assisting in the organization and execution of infrastructure upgrades while working with the facility team. Please note, this opportunity is an onsite work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Enrolled in post-secondary program such as Facilities Engineering, Building Engineering/Science, Construction Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or other program related to manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Working with engineers on the installation of critical facility infrastructure
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting systems such as HVAC, compressed air, water purification systems, building management systems and environmental monitoring systems
  • Designing and installing fixtures, equipment and infrastructure to improve manufacturing processes
  • Gathering and assessing data and reports to develop conclusions that guide decision-making and planning processes
  • Supporting facility expansions, layouts, quality controls and systems
  • Assessing utilities and operational setups to optimize operational efficiencies
  • Preparing facility reports and compliance records
  • Overseeing contractors handling maintenance tasks
  • Following facility regulations, safety standards and building codes
  • Predicting problems or risks and develop plans to avoid or mitigate them
