About The Position

Blue Origin is hiring Manufacturing Engineers at multiple levels to support Operations in Space Coast, Florida. The role supports the industrialization of new products and the development of efficient, repeatable manufacturing systems for spaceflight hardware. Engineers work with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to improve manufacturing methods, product quality, reliability, cost, and production timelines. Areas of work may include solar arrays, integration and test, build flow and sequencing, avionics, structures, and mechanisms. The position contributes to design for manufacturability, assembly, and test; translates engineering requirements into manufacturing processes; creates production documentation; and supports new technologies, process validation, non-conformance resolution, and continuous improvement. Work must comply with applicable quality and safety standards. The team supports Lunar Mission Operations and the development, assembly, test, and preparation of the Transporter vehicle for lunar missions. Multiple positions are available in Space Coast, Florida. Relocation assistance is available, and travel may be up to 10% for training and other support activities. The employee must be able to work second shift, move between shifts as needed, and work extended hours if required.
