About The Position

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its Operations team at the Space Coast, Florida location. The role supports the industrialization and production of lunar mission hardware, including solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, and structures. The engineer will translate engineering requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes, improve production efficiency and quality, and collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams. The position is part of Lunar Mission Operations, which supports the development, assembly, testing, and preparation of the Transporter vehicle for lunar missions. The successful candidate will develop manufacturing documentation, support process and product non-conformance investigations, assess and implement manufacturing methods and technologies, and participate in production-line and equipment validation. The role requires expertise in at least one relevant specialty area and the ability to work second shift, with flexibility to move shifts as needed. Potential travel is up to 10% for training and other support activities. Relocation is available. Shift options are A Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM), B Shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM), C Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM), and D Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM).
