Manufacturing Engineer II/III/Sr - Composites

BLUE ORIGIN•West Melbourne, FL
•Onsite

About The Position

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its Operations team and lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems, maintain stringent production quality, and optimize production and supply-chain processes. The role works with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve production timelines while contributing to manufacturing methods and technologies for aerospace products. The position supports industrialization of products including solar arrays, avionics, structures, and integration and test. It translates engineering requirements into repeatable processes and supports design for manufacturability, assembly, and test. The engineer develops manufacturing documentation, evaluates manufacturing technologies, supports non-conformance investigations and corrective actions, and participates in risk assessments and validation of production lines and equipment. The role is part of Lunar Mission Operations, which supports the development, assembly, testing, and preparation of the Transporter vehicle for lunar missions. The position is based in Space Coast, Florida, on a stated first-shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the posting also requires ability to work second shift and flexibility to move shifts as needed. Travel may be up to 10% for training and support activities. Relocation is available.
