About The Position
DISHER is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production-line relocations and the movement of multi-station assemblies for a medical device customer. This is a two-year contract position performed onsite in Portage, Michigan, with a 40-hour workweek. The engineer will plan and execute equipment and line moves, including revalidation and requalification, and support industrial engineers with ergonomics, transfer, inventory, and broader plant-impact considerations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience physically relocating production lines and/or major equipment.
- Experience with material handling and plant-flow fundamentals.
- Comfort working on the production floor.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the medical device, automotive, or consumer goods industry.
