About The Position
DISHER is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production line moves, validation, line flow, rebalancing, and implementation of new equipment. This is a two-year contract position that is fully onsite in Portage, Michigan. The role includes supporting production line relocation and validation, and implementing new equipment through equipment specification, vendor coordination, qualification, assembly, and integration of a new production line.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with new equipment specification, procurement support, and vendor management.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience with production line assembly, integration, debugging, and ramp-up.
- Skill in coordinating line moves, line flow, and rebalancing.
Responsibilities
- Assist with production line relocation and moves, validation, line flow, and rebalancing.
- Implement new equipment, including specifying equipment, working with vendors, qualifying and assembling equipment, and integrating a new production line.
