About The Position
DISHER is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production-line relocations and the movement of multi-station assemblies for a medical device customer. This is a two-year onsite contract in Portage, Michigan. The engineer will plan and execute relocations, including revalidation, and support industrial engineers with ergonomics, transfers, inventory, and broader plant impacts. The role involves moving, planning, coordinating, reinstalling, and requalifying equipment and is scheduled for 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Experience physically relocating production lines and/or major equipment.
- Experience with material handling and plant-flow fundamentals.
- Comfort working on the production floor.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the medical device, automotive, or consumer goods industry.
