About The Position
DISHER is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 2-year contract, fully onsite in Portage, Michigan. The engineer will support production line moves, validation, line flow and rebalancing, and implementation of new equipment. This includes specifying equipment, working with vendors, qualifying equipment, and assembling and integrating a new production line.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with new equipment specification, procurement support, and vendor management.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience with production line assembly, integration, debugging, and ramp-up.
- Skills in line move coordination, line flow, and rebalancing.
