About The Position
As our Manufacturing Engineer, your primary role will be to collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to support product transfers to the best manufacturing location. You will assist with integrating new products and product modifications into production as well as upgrading work instructions and routings. You will devise, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes while using Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and standardize production. You will support the Maintenance team with technical troubleshooting and machinery upgrades.
Requirements
- experience with product planning
- able to provide innovation through collaboration with a team
- proficient in working with hand and power tools
- experience in designing work centers for capacity, efficiency, and safety to meet required takt times
- willing to travel to other locations to assist with projects as needed
Nice To Haves
- A 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree and 1-2 years of experience are preferred.
