About The Position

ATI is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for its Richburg, South Carolina facility. The role performs a wide variety of tasks in the Finishing Department and assists on the shop floor to help meet production goals. The associate may perform work as a Straightener Operator, Peeler Operator, Grinder Operator, Mark and Pack, Saw Operator, and Crane Operator. The position offers opportunities for growth through cross-training and job rotations.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of tasks in the Finishing Department to help meet production goals.
• Use measuring devices such as gauges, meters, calipers, and measuring tapes.
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes.
• Use heat-treating furnaces to heat treat bar and coil products accurately.
• Follow mill instructions to regulate furnaces and adjust for non-conformances.
• Assist with setting up machines.
• Follow and implement prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• Perform duties associated with Straightener Operator, Peeler Operator, Grinder Operator, Mark and Pack, Saw Operator, and Crane Operator roles.
