About The Position

A Manufacturing Associate operates heavy machinery across different departments on the facility floor. The role fulfills pan orders provided by suppliers by completing assigned tasks on pans quickly and accurately according to orders from the Shift Supervisor. The associate inspects pans for imperfections, reports problems, wears required personal protective equipment, and performs other tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Plant Manager. The position is with Pan Glo in Urbana, Ohio, part of Bundy Baking Solutions, a global baking-solutions business with nearly 2,000 employees across 11 countries.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, the company handbook, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and follow instructions from the Shift Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
Ability to regularly stand, walk up and down steps, bend and twist at the waist, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, handle objects with the hands, bend at the elbow, reach overhead, lift from the floor, turn the head, look up and down, and push and pull.
Ability to occasionally lift 10–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy machinery in different departments on the facility floor.
Complete tasks on pans quickly and accurately to fulfill supplier orders as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
Detect and inspect pans for imperfections.
Inform the Plant Manager, Supervisor, or Shift Lead of problems found with pans.
Wear all required PPE in all areas.
Use hand-eye coordination to perform assigned work.
Complete other tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
