About The Position
The Manufacturing Associate works under the direction of the Production Manager and directly with team leads to manufacture products for shipment to customers. The role may also involve additional assigned tasks, including warehouse upkeep and organization, and processing materials for custom products from drawings or blueprints. The position is based at the company's manufacturing facility in Jurupa Valley, California. Duties may vary as the company grows.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read a measuring tape.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to wear a respirator at all times.
- Reliable transportation, regular attendance, and punctuality are critical.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to travel domestically for in-field repairs.
Responsibilities
- Sand products to prepare them for painting.
- Apply bondo, primer, and wood filler to ensure products have no defects.
- Read and interpret production schedules and orders.
- Inspect materials before, during, and after processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete required inventory paperwork.
- Immediately report defective material and faulty equipment to the Production Manager.
- Maintain a clean work environment and follow plant safety regulations and work rules.
- Organize warehouse space.
- Provide additional support to other departments.
- Process materials for custom products from drawings or blueprints.
