About The Position

Volt is hiring a Manufacturing Associate/Material Handler for a technology facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. This is a contract assignment of up to 24 months. The position prepares electronic components and materials for production and testing, routes and installs cables in server rack systems, and supports inventory accuracy. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, either 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. Pay is $22–$24.20 per hour, depending on shift and other factors, including education, experience, work location, job duties, and certifications.

Requirements

• Manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25–40 pounds.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to accurately scan, track, and process materials.
• ITAR-compliant documents.
• Safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electronic components for testing by labeling, scanning, tracking, and ensuring materials are ready for production.
• Route and install cables in server rack systems according to detailed work instructions.
• Label, organize, and verify cables for accuracy.
• Pull, stage, and scan materials for production jobs.
• Participate in routine cycle counts to support accurate inventory management.
• Safely move and organize materials using an electric pallet jack.
