Requirements
- Experience supervising or managing within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing a represented workforce
- SAP or similar ERP experience
- Detail-oriented, technical professional with a background in avionics.
- Leadership skills and commitment to quality.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the electronics industry
- Familiarity with ISO/AS9100
- Proven experience in a fast paced environment
- B.S. or B.A. degree, preferably in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Assist in developing and managing budgets, staffing, and training programs.
- Participate in management meetings to discuss business status and strategies.
- Lead daily team meetings to communicate company objectives and business updates.
- Ensure a safe working environment through regular Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.
- Promote an ethics-based business culture and encourage employee involvement and innovation.
- Oversee a team of supervisors and hourly operators across multiple business units in Stratford, CT.
- Ensure the assembly, testing, and control of in-process and finished goods meet company standards, government regulations, and contract requirements.
